We arrived in Cartagena after 26 hours of travel with waves large enough in certain parts of the journey, we are waiting on the boat that immigration officers come to check their passports and so to disembark from the ship but we, motorcycles will have to wait a day but so that customs agents can check in detail, we at approximately 11 am to be right now and 3 pm, ending to organize my bags from the adventurous and making a small backpack with clothes just for the night in a hostel here in Cartagena and am back on the bikes and our stuf. The next day being down the bikes the glider was released a shower which did not look at 20 meters thick that it was after 2 hours off my bike, drove to the customs building for a temporary importation of the adventurous and continuing my way, and completed the paperwork with more than 5 hours of waiting I went through my computer with which I travel, I found there to Cartagena Fernando a motorcyclist who would give me hosting my stay in the city, in the end we were 5 motorcyclists enjoying the stay so enjoyable that Fernando gave us. After spending several days resting and enjoying continued our journey Cartagena to Taganga where Daniel would visit the Swiss we met in the sailboat that brought us to this beautiful country, June 1-hour drive to get to the beautiful coast Instead, we reached the house of Daniel where we left our things and went for a walk around the village, a very quiet place on the waterfront you can eat or drink or dance in its various restaurants, bars and a nightclub. After two days of rest we headed for the border crossing into Venezuela Paraguachon and what was our surprise kilometers before reaching flood already noticed by all the villages we passed the border and coming in from Venezuela and we inform had not happened since there was a stretch where the road reached 2 meters deep, by returning migration staff tell us we can not leave the country to meet the 72 hours within an area where there was no service like water, electricity among others, so we left Venezuela and looking hotel on the border on the Colombian side unsealed exit visas to Venezuela, to be crossing back again shots were heard as they were docking a passenger bus, so was the final a clash between policemen and thieves. After a very tiring day on our way now to the border of Cucuta, where the day yesterday we slept in Valledupar, to this day get up early and drive for 10 hours and travel about 450 kilometers or so to reach and rest Bucaramanga end in a very nice hostel, we are in an area of bars and cafes where the Colombian beauty is noted.
Story 1: Arrive back to Colombia's southern border, the processed output of Ecuador was very time consuming because there were too few staff people and doing the paperwork, after an hour of queuing I could leave and go to the offices Colombia, where everything was and I could go faster and without any mishap, my destiny would Pasto in Nariño, on the road made a little diversion to Las Lajas, an impressive church of the few that can do with this beauty in Latin America, we get to Pasto and I settled in a cheap hotel near the bus terminal, spent several days there with friends visiting the city and resting as usual on my haha. Thanks to Dario for showing me the city and all its churches and for having opened the doors of his house to meet the family, likewise also thank my friends motorcyclists went to dinner one night before my departure.
Story 2: I left the grass after several days of being there Popayan continue my way to where the road was somewhat stressful because there were many gaps and unevenness in the road that made the handling a little tired, it rained for a while and if we add I was rolling on guerrilla zone made the most stressful way, come to the White City Popayan, a beautiful city, very clean and very relaxing as being all white is an air of tranquility in her knowledge in all nooks and crannies regard to its historical center and also climbed to a hill which is on the side where you can see both the whole city.
Story 3: After several days of rest in Popayan continue my way to Cali, where it reaches almost night and I moved very slowly on the road enjoying the scenery was very beautiful, in Cali I stay in a hostel for bikers where the owner is a Dane who has traveled many countries in their motorcycles. I spent several days in Cali where I met several sides of the city with my friend Victor motorcyclist who came a long time talking on the computer and who in turn was a friend of fellow travelers that I had known in Mexico, that night we went to dinner the house where his parents welcomed me excellently, thanks Victor. The next day I went to see the zoo in Cali, famous for being very large and so it was that day in the evening I spoke Sory, wife of George (motorcyclist friends own a store) to invite me for a ride on Lake Calima was a trip rich in their company and other Motorbikers who had joined the walk. With Sory and George for their hospitality and all that we shot that day. The day that I would go early to say goodbye to them and talk with Alain French traveler Colombia is known as the palm of your hand, to give me advice on the route.
Story 4: I'm in Salento, in the heart of the triangle Coffee, a town still very traditional, where people on horseback after making your purchases the day, where people are very friendly and greet you all, where is one of the best cafes in Colombia and the world, where I spent several days to enjoy a delicious coffee, I met Salento and its surroundings, I stayed on a farm that is 20 minutes walking village a place to breathe peace and quiet, away from any noise.
Story 5: Sali Manizales Salento course, very important city in the coffee, there visit the historical center, the cable car in the same city to transport me about it, I went to their university and also known as the snowy surroundings Ruiz visited place in this area. After several days continue to Medellin, where I got to see the Flower Festival, famous in the country and the world, where every day has a schedule of events such as horseback riding, truck called chivas among others, there I was with my Pearl friend who lives in the same city where I live in Mexico, we were exploring the city together, met museum, we went to street festivals and many more activities, David also met a friend who motorcyclist went to eat in the company of his wife, know something of the city and who also took me to some outstanding in the city, no doubt David was very helpful, very tasty addition to talking all the adventures that have touched on this love of motorcycling, thanks David.
Story 6: After being almost a week for Medellin continue my way to the coast, Cartagena would be my final destination, but first would pass through Santiago de Tolu beautiful coastal village on the side of the Caribbean Sea a few hundred kilometers from Cartagena. After some days in this beautiful place continue to Turbaco, the people of my friend Fernando Morales who took me 10 months ago when you pass the first time in Colombia, I'm 15 minutes from Cartagena doing all the paperwork to send to the adventurous old continent and to continue with the trip, transportation is expensive and the money ran out, touch me working in Europe to continue the journey, something good was that Fernando has helped me with the paperwork, as well as myself have received a member of the family and has given me an excellent deal.
